Beginning Quilting w/Nichole

In this series of six (6) classes, Nichole will teach you all you need to know to start on your quilting journey. We will focus on proper ways to prepare and cut your fabric as well as how to use the tools of the trade. During each class you will learn a new, classic quilt block and wonder why you ever put off learning! This will be a very hands-on class where all your quilting questions will be answered.

Things covered will be very basic and include: Powering on/off; checking for Windows Updates; AntiVirus; storing files on your PC; downloading files from the Internet. Due to the Hands On Nature of the class, there is a limit of 4 seats.

Note: In order to attend this class you must have attended the P+2-P+ Intro session. This class will be utilizing the Embroidery Basics book (either Premier+2 or Premier+) by Tim Frost. This class will cover the first few Chapters in your books: Preliminary Concepts; Understanding Embroidery Files, Let's Get Started (Chapter 2 in the Premier+ book; a PDF will be sent to P+2 attendees) and Working on the Home Tab. Before class, you will receive an email from the instructor with a homework assignment that needs to be completed before class. There will be a new assignment given in prep for the next class (Class 3) Limit of 6 people per class.

Note: In order to attend this class you must have attended the P+2-P+ Intro session. This class will be utilizing the Embroidery Basics book (either Premier+2 or Premier+) by Tim Frost. This class will cover the rest of the Basic Design Component Manipulation Chapter (Chapter 3 (P+2) or Chapter 4 (P+)). Before class, you will receive an email from the instructor with a homework assignment that needs to be completed before class. Note: In order to attend this class you must have attended the P+2-P+ Intro session. This class will be utilizing the Embroidery Basics book (either Premier+2 or Premier+) by Tim Frost. This class will cover the rest of the Basic Design Component Manipulation Chapter (Chapter 3 (P+2) or Chapter 4 (P+)). Before class, you will receive an email from the instructor with a homework assignment that needs to be completed before class. Come join the Pick Your Stitch crew on the last Tuesday of every month from 2 p.m. - 7 p.m. While this is an open-house type event, we still las that you register because space IS limited. Fee Is %.00 each month.....funds will be collected to purchase supplies for service projects or donations.
