Ruler Foot "D" Blocks #5-8 with Sally


This is a quilt as you go quilting class using a ruler foot and templates by Westalee.  We will be working on the designs for the D blocks #5-8.  Plus we will put together 2 ten inch blcks using strips for the quilt as you go method of assmebling your blocks into a quilt.  Cost of class is instruction only.  You must have taken the beginner ruler work class to take this class.
Supplies:
Machine that you can put the feed dogs down
Machine manual
Sewing table for your machine
Bobbins (wound with the color you want on the back of your quilt)
Size 14/90 needle...microtex works well (bring more in case of a break)
Optional:  single hole stitch plate
Self-threading hand sewing needle
Screwdriver that came with your machine
Fabric marking tool that is removable
Scissors
Tweezers
Seam ripper
Free-motion glider
Thread for the top of your quilt
Free motion kit with ruler foot and templates
Painter's tape or floriani red tape
Your student guide (from your kit)
C Block Cut from top, back, and batting:
     (4) 19x16 rectangles
Quilt As You Go Using Strips:
     For 5/8" sashing cut front sashing fabric 1 1/8" wide and length of square or squares
     cut back sashing fabric 1 3/4" wide and the length of the square or squares
Bring 2 of your 10" square fabric sandwiches
