Table Runner Sampler: Quilting for Beginners with Ceil

This class is designed to introduce individuals that are wanting to learn the basics of sewing a quilt pattern.  The table runner will consist of 4 commonly used blocks for quilting, along with sashing, batting, and backing.  We'll discuss the ways in which to cut out your fabric, label, mark, press, and sew your blocks together.  You will make a quilt sandwich and learn the stitch in the ditch technique.  Cost of class is instruction only.

Class Policies

1. Class will begin promptly when stated.  Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow plenty of time to set up.  If you are late to class it is your responsibility to get caught up.  Anyone who is more than 15 minutes late to class will not be allowed to stay.

2. If help is needed in the selection of class materials, please do so in advance of the class date.  Our instructors prepare well in advance of the class and we anticipate and expect that you will do so as well.  If you are provided with specific instruction to prepare something prior to class, we anticipate that you will do so and come prepared.  The class will not be held up to accommodate your lack of preparation.

3. Most classes require some amount of prep work before class.  Please have all materials ready prior to class.  This includes having fabric cut and anything printed that is needed.

4. Please purchase supplies before class begins.

5. No refunds for cancellations will be given less than 72 hours before the class.

6. Class fees are for instruction only and do not include materials unless otherwise stated.

7. Students are required to bring a sewing machine in good working order.  You should be familiar with the operation of your machine prior to class.

8. Classes have a 3 student minimum.  If the minimum is not met, class is subject to cancellation.
