Beginning Quilting with Lisa - Lesson 6: Finishing Your Quilt
Finishing your first quilt - this lesson includes: how to pick a backing fabric, binding fabric, and batting; how to layer your quilt; how to baste and quilt your project; finishing options (binding, facing, flange binding).
Rental machines available - $10 for session to use a Janome TravelMate 50 or Husqvarna Viking Onyx 30. This rental fee can be applied towards the purchase of a new machine.
Tools recommended for this class - stitch in the ditch foot, 90/14 or 100/16 microtex needles, craft size batting (or 2/3 yard from bolt), basting pins, spray baste
